Groupama Insurance Case Study

Client

  Groupama Insurances (UK) Limited. As one of the UK’ leading general insurers, Groupama Insurances (UK) Limited offer motor, home and health insurance and protects a growing number of smaller UK businesses.

 Brief

 To assist Groupama with the relocation of their UK Head Office from the previous home in Minories, EC3 to the prestigious and landmark building of One America Square, EC3, where Groupama have secured occupancy of the 6^th Floor.

  PacificWave was tasked with the supply and installation of simple, yet effective audiovisual and video and audio conferencing facilities for Groupama’s new office, including the following key areas, using technologies such as Polycom, AMX and Onelan:

• 1no. Reception Area
• 3no. small syndicate meeting rooms
• 2no. medium sized meeting rooms
• 2no. VideoConference meeting rooms
• 1no. staff respite area
• 1no. divisible and multi-functional boardroom and annex suite

Installation

 Once appointed as the contracted audiovisual partner, PacificWave understood the mammoth task ahead of them; they, along with the principal contractor and associated third party trades, had just seven weeks to design, install and commission the new Head Office building for Groupama.

  Despite the numerous challenges and set-backs, including a flooded floor void, PacificWave managed to deliver the audiovisual systems on time, on budget and against Groupama’s exact specifications and brief.

Equipment

  Throughout the delivery of this installation, PacificWave used some of the most leading edge technologies available, including:

• AMX integrated control system within the boardroom
• Polycom VideoConference systems within the videoconference meeting rooms
• OneLan Digital Signage platform within the Reception Area
• HD LCD Televisions within the Staff Respite and Receptions Area’s, future-proofing the investment(s) by Groupama 

Summary

  Groupama expressed their sincere satisfaction with the delivery of the project program and integrated facilities sourced from PacificWave. On-going, PacificWave will maintain the audiovisual facilities under an on-site maintenance agreement and are already discussing other projects with Groupama for delivery in 2010.
