Traditional analogue systems have long been outdated with their unreliable and inconvenient storage, although the cameras themselves can represent a considerable investment. They have been replaced by first generation digital recorders allowing web access, digital storage and retrieval and easier administration – now it is time for the next generation of fully integrated IP CCTV.

  Still able to utilise your existing cameras due to the open platform approach adopted by PacificWave, or supplying and installing new cameras, the newest systems provide all the reliability and storage advantages along with simpler management, converged infrastructure using technologies like PoE and IP cameras, full integration with related technologies such as motion sensors, barriers and intercoms, and rule based actions that bring many more uses for this technology than just monitoring.

  PacificWave’s extensive knowledge of “converged” IT and AV systems put us in a great position to understand all of the requirements of an excellent digital IP CCTV infrastructure, from camera selections and position to configuring networks with technologies like VLAN’s to segregate the CCTV traffic by better privacy and performance.
