Digital Signage is one of the key industry areas where PacificWave’s unique knowledge of IT and AV convergence means that your ideas can be made real, and your message, or information, can be conveyed to your audience in exactly the way you envisaged. Some of the challenges faced when designing a system lend themselves to a wide range of AV and IT experience – synchronised distribution and switching of signals, boosting signals over distance, distributing over existing network infrastructure and managing over IP networks. Not all of these skills are shared by all digital signage vendors who specialise in signage only.PacificWave Ltd uses industry leading signage products like Omnivex, Onelan and Sumo Technologies to provide our clients with eye-catching, reliable, manageable and highly interactive displays. Data-driven, interactive displays are taking over this area of the industry and changing signage from the static, unreliable, slideshows of the past.

PacificWave links up with state-of-the-art digital surveillance and IP CCTV partners like Milestone Systems, Sicura Systems, Axis, Panasonic and Samsung to provide our clients with reliable and flexible solutions that exceed our customer’s expectations. Traditional analogue systems have long been outdated with their unreliable and inconvenient storage, although the cameras themselves can represent a considerable investment, they have been replaced by first generation digital recorders allowing web access, digital storage and retrieval and easier administration – now it is time for the next generation of fully integrated IP CCTV.
Still able to utilise your existing cameras due to the open platform approach adopted by PacificWave, or supplying and installing new cameras, the newest systems provide all the reliability and storage advantages along with simpler management, converged infrastructure using technologies like PoE and IP cameras, full integration with related technologies such as motion sensors, barriers and intercoms, and rule based actions that bring many more uses for this technology than just monitoring.
